DIY Elastic Headwrap

I will admit it, I totally made this by accident and I LOVE IT!!!!  I always use Goody Ouchless Elastics and I made the mistake of buying Goody Girls Ouchless Elastics, emphasis on “Girls!” I have longer hair and the “Girls” are far too tiny to hold all my hair.  So I decided to link them together and make an DIY Elastic Headwrap.
I do know one thing, these work perfectly for the gym!!!
(My beautiful hairstylist, Cassie-->Follow her on Instagram..birdy3183, all the cool kids do)

You'll need:
  • 11 Goody Girls Ouchless Elastics
  • A pair of scissors
*Supplies will vary depending on size.

Put all elastics in order. Cut the "lonely" elastic in half. (I cut on the connected area)

Simply Green and Delicious

Hope every had a wonderful St. Patrick's Day. My husband and I got to celebrate with our wonderful sister and her fiancĂ©. We started the night with a delish drink mix she gathered from her co-worker.
"Simply Green and Delish"
  • 2 cups Vodka
  • 2 liter of Mountain Dew Soda
  • 2 pkgs. Kool-Aid Lemon Lime Drink Mix
CHUG THE MOUNTAIN DEW until it reaches the top of the label. (I'm only kidding, pour out or consume enough Mountain Dew Soda until it reaches the top of the label) Add the 2 Lemon-Lime Kool-Aid packets and fill the rest of the 2 liter up with vodka. Gently shake and chill. Serve chilled with a lime.
For the main course she cooked pecan-crusted chicken, potatoes, and grilled asparagus. All wonderfully mouth-watering and cooked to perfection.
We "ALL" saved room for dessert. A classic yellow cake with vanilla frosting and don't forget the "Green Sugar Sprinkles."
The best part about our night is we were "LUCKY" enough to enjoy wonderful company and good food.

While reading Self Magazine I came across this recipe for Samoas a.k.a Caramel de-Lites by Girl Scout Cookies. Side note: These are my FAVORITE GIRL SCOUT COOKIES EVER! The best part is this recipe is lower in fat and calories. Sign me up........

Oh my CARAMEL GOODNESS:
  • 1/2 cup of sweetened coconut
  • 12 chewy caramels
  • 3 tbsp. dark or semisweet chocolate chips
  • 24 reduced-fat Nilla Wafers
  • 1/4 cup slim milk
  • Parchment paper
  • reusable bag
Heat oven to 300 degrees. On a baking sheet, toast sweetened coconut. Turning every 5 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool. Using parchment paper cover separate baking sheet; set wafers on top. In a microwavable bowel, microwave caramels and milk on high, stirring until smooth. Should take about 4 minutes. Fold sweetened coconut into caramel mixture. Spread about 1 tbsp. caramel mixture onto each wafer. Let cookies cool completely (I put cookies in refrigerator for this step) Next microwave chocolate, stir often, until melted. Should take about 3 minutes. Transfer chocolate into reusable bag. Snip tiny portion of bag corner. Drizzle cookies with chocolate, let cool.
Makes 24 cookies: each cookie has 52 calories, 2g fat, 1g saturated fat, 8g carbs, 0g fiber, 1g protein.

Oh my Carmel Goodness cookies received approval from my husband and that means they are G-O-O-D good!!!!!!
Hope you enjoyed this easy cookie recipe!!!
